This is a concert recording of a duo performance by Brad Mehldau and Christian McBride. The source material is a soundboard recording that was originally broadcast on FM radio; the audio quality was excellent from the start, so no equalization adjustments were required. Processing included hiss noise reduction and a boost in output level, as well as re-editing to fix unnatural spots—likely caused by the removal of DJ commentary. Additionally, the French interpretation that had been overlaid on McBride’s English speech made the audio difficult to follow, so that portion was removed. The setlist consists primarily of covers spanning various genres, featuring songs that will likely be familiar even to rock fans.
