This release features a live performance in Vienna by "WE WANT MILES!"—a tribute group led by Marcus Miller and composed of Miles Davis alumni—sourced from a high-quality audience recording and digitally remastered. Billed as a tribute to Miles Davis, the setlist consists entirely of material from his albums, and the spoken interludes between songs include reminiscences about the late trumpeter; consequently, all spoken segments are included uncut. While this same label has released a recording of the group's performance at the North Sea Jazz Festival from the same period, newcomers are advised to start with that release (SGF-00633), which offers top-tier audio and visual quality. However, as that was a festival appearance, the setlist was condensed and omitted tracks such as "Aida," "Hannibal," and "Tutu." Therefore, this release is an essential acquisition for seasoned Miles aficionados.
