A live recording from the 1987 Nice Jazz Festival has been released. Miles Davis performed at the Nice Jazz Festival almost every year around this time, but this is the first recording from the second day of the festival. The recording was remastered from a broadcast on French radio and has a cohesive and easy-to-listen-to sound quality. The only downside is that French DJ talk occasionally intrudes on the music, but thanks to the label's meticulous editing, it has been removed to the point where it's almost impossible to tell where the talk was. Miles Davis's band sounds particularly careful and polished overall on this day. We encourage you to compare it with their performances from other days and enjoy!
