This is the latest live recording from The Cure (as of September 2026), capturing their performance on the final day of a French music festival held from August 26th to 30th. Although the source is a radio broadcast—enhanced through remastering for better sound quality—the original feed was plagued by a French DJ chattering incessantly; the DJ’s voice was often louder than Robert Smith’s, even during song intros and outros, creating a major distraction. Just as one became immersed in the magnificent performance, the DJ’s interruptions would rudely snap the listener back to reality. To prevent this from spoiling the experience, I have edited out all the DJ commentary. Please note that, as a result, some tracks inevitably feature fade-ins or fade-outs. Nevertheless, the listening experience is vastly superior to the raw broadcast master. Featuring songs from their acclaimed album *Songs of a Lost World* (released the year before last), this is a must-hear live recording for fans.
